Another Beautiful Saturday

On the way back from shopping in Sydney, we decided to go bushwalking in another part of Brisbane Water National Park that we’ve never been to. We walked along the track to the sounds of local birds chirping in the cold, crisp air. We got to an old quarry where we unexpectedly found a lake with frogs croaking to each other and the moon right overhead. It took my mind away to somewhere so peaceful and my senses just soaked in everything.

After many months, I have finally finished knitting my pink blanket – just in time for the upcoming winter nights. So satisfying.

I Can’t Believe I Live on The Central Coast

There are moments everyday when I am blown away that I live in such a beautiful place. Today, I feel extra blessed as I bushwalk through Mount Ettalong again and witness these breathtaking views.

Saturday Lunch

Saturdays are often busy for us. There is housework to be done, groceries to buy and phone calls to make. Today, however, in between property inspections, housework and a little shopping, we squeezed in a truly yummy and extremely filling home-cooked lunch. We had seafood tom yum, onion omelette, steamed bok choy, sausage stirfry and steamed rice. We ended it with a pot of freshly brewed coffee. Yum!

Vacuum Fun

Oh my god! This is sooo fun! I finally bought vacuum-sealed storage bags aka Space Bags. I bought the cheap, no-name brand and hoped it worked. It sure did! Inside that bag is 3 pillows and a doona/quilt! As you can see its half the height of my mobile now! Sic!

**Update: Olly got freaked out by the bag cos he couldn’t touch his favourite doona through the plastic. So he pounced on the bag and bit it! Grrr… Back to the shops I go.**
