Granny Love

Pattern and photo by Kootoyoo

I want one! I just love how the granny square is given a modern and very wearable look. I checked my stash and don’t have enough yarn for it. So I need to go yarn shopping and get a 15mm hook asap. I can’t wait to start crocheting!

My mum made me a very similar shrug (thank God she is a better knitter than me!!!) following a pattern on an italian craft magazine. I love this one too, maybe the time has come for me to make a more serious knitted project than little Albert’s red jumper! ^__^

Very nice. I bet it will look good too! Seems like a quick project too.

I am trying to clear up my projects 2 at a time. I actually have a box of about 15 things that I started and haven’t finished. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt but I have lots of UFO’s that it is my goal to at least work on one of them if I start a new project. Finished a beautiful shawl that is on my ravelry page, candisrrt.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

This is so cool! So many projects, not enough time. I’ll never live long enough to make all of the things I want.

well, I save some of your blogs but apparently not one on your sweater you knitted….which this question pertains to more so than the granny love….which I do really like! Looks marvelous!

Question: I’m wondering if you have good instructions for making buttonholes? I’ve looked at u tube and in books I have and really am just getting more and more confused. I’ve got a pattern for a 3-way wrap that I’d really like to make but must must must first master making a buttonhole. ARGHHHH
Any help you can send my way would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!!
