Isabeau Purse Complete!

Finished the Isabeau Purse in less than 2 days! I knitted longer handles so that I can sling it instead. If you’re wondering why I’ve got so much free time, I’m on school holidays and just had surgery on both my knees last Wednesday. So I’m forced to sit and rest for hours on end. What a bummer, eh? 😛

More Completed Projects

I have just finished knitting Richard a beanie today. It was knitted on a set of 4 needles and is sewn as one piece with no seams. I found it hard to keep the knit tidy and tight. Don’t think I’ll sew another one like this in a while.

And when Richard was taking a nap, I whipped myself up an Easy Peasy Snap Wallet to carry a few essentials with me when I’m going for a quick shop. The pattern is from Craftster.

Handmade Diaper Bag

My cousin and his wife are expecting their first child in November. We sent them a parenting DVD but my mum suggested I make something for them too. And since she bought me a sewing machine for my birthday, I thought I’ll sew them something. Teresa suggested I make a diaper bag since the ones in Singapore were ugly. So after much research and effort, here is the finished bag! This is my first sewing project in MANY years. It’s not perfect but it was made with a lot of love.

Colourful Knitted Bag

I’ve finally finished knitting this cute, crazy bag. The motivation for knitting this is to learn all kinds of different techniques to make each unique square. I didn’t think it would turn out as good as it did and I’m glad I kept at it. I’m going to use it to hold my next knitting project. Still deciding on what that might be… Hmmm…
