A beautiful parcel from Japan arrived this week. Even though I was expecting it, I was still very surprised by its quirky appearance. A tourist map of Tokyo encapsulates the crafty goodness within.
Inside was even more meticulous packaging. Look at the attention to detail that has gone into putting this parcel together. The Japanese does this so well!
Behold my prize – fabric scraps, notebook, buttons, lace and a couple of origami just to add to the cute factor!
You might be wondering who sent me this lovely prize. Well, it’s from the very sweet Mai! I’ve been following her blog ever since I saw one of her many sewing tutorials. I just love how she writes too. You can just tell that she is such a nice person and is simply down-to-earth.
Thank you Mai for a wonderful giveaway and prize! I love every single bit of it!
I won a beautiful handmade brooch on my OWOH magic carpet ride a few weeks ago. As soon as I opened the box and laid eyes on it, I was captivated by it’s beauty. This delicately hand beaded piece of wearable art is created by the talented Jodi Davis. She has a collection of stunning, one-of-a-kind jewellery in her Etsy shop.
The brooch is pinned to my Clapotis shawl and it’s like a match made in heaven. It seems like the moon and stars have aligned to bring these two together. Maybe it will even bring me a bit of good fortune in the future. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?
201 loving families wanted to adopt Little Mac. But there can only be one winner of the One World One Heart giveaway.
“My new mummy is Christina! *suck suck* I’ll be coming home soon, mamma!”
I’m sad to see him go but I’m sure he’ll be happy with Christina and (another) Richard. Best of all, he’ll still be in sunny Australia.
And for everyone else, I strongly urge you to visit Christina’s blog and shop. She is an amazingly talented artist. Here’s just one of her stunning prints from her Etsy shop:
I heard of Lisa’s One World, One Heart through my good friend, Cath. She told me of this great event where creative bloggers all around the world get to connect with each other, bloggers who may not normally meet. I jumped on the bandwagon like she did as it’s such a great opportunity to make new friends, don’t you think?
So if this is your first time here, I welcome you to my little corner of the blogoshphere where I

3 I love to bake and oh such a terrible sweet tooth I have! But tell me, how can I resist all of these?
To thank you for dropping by, I’m
